Bonzo on the airplane: "Beep beep beep! The plane is BACKING UP! Beep beep beep!" He did great on the return flight, thanks to a 90 minute nap in the middle. Both he and his dad held their ground through some pretty impressive turbulence, too.

This entire trip, he's been asking, "Can I come?" When he heard about the jaunt to NY, that was the first thing he said. When told we were getting back in the airplane, he said, "Can I come?" Yes, we're all going. "Can I come?" Yes, you will be with us all day. "Can I come?" SIGH.

It's sweet, and also heartbreaking. Does he really think we would leave him at home with the cat? How can I set his little two-year-old brain straight on this?
