Sadly, the revolution will not be blogged.
I've managed to get myself into some deep water at work. I had a dream last night that I was moved to the downtown office so that they could fire me.
There is a thick blanket of snow on everything this morning. I really wanted to stay in with my baby. Better yet, I wanted Elwood to stay in with my baby and I would have walked to my job that would have been, in a perfect world, two blocks away. Perhaps we'd drop him off at his hypothetical day care that was just down the street for a couple hours so that he could kibbitz with the other kids and then we'd bring him home for a nap. Or we'd both leave him with a grandma, also down the street. The things I imagine when awake are much better than those I imagine while asleep lately.
Yesterday was tiring. I worked a little, took a little time off for Important Other Stuff, and came home to do a bunch of zooming around. I never successfully got the Bug to sleep by himself, and I ended up laying down with him at 8:30, waking up for a few minutes and getting the critical stuff done (packing the pump and clearing Bloglines) and then back to bed. I got lots of sleep and feel good. Not so much with the alone time, though.
I did get the Summer-nator armwarmers started, hooray. Check Ravelry for an update one day soon.
Thanks, y'all, for the chatting on Wednesday. It did me good.
