I drove back from school to the office today by going east on 90/94 past the LaSalle Bank Mural Building. They're putting up a variation on Seurat's "Sunday on La Grand Jatte" (is that the correct title?) with the umbrella lady in the foreground and the Chicago skyline in the background. In between, there are little background people lounging, running through the water, painting the sand... Suddenly I realized that the mural artists were still up on the scaffolding, putting on finishing touches. They were in scale with the background figures and looked like part of the painting until they moved. Spooky and hyper-realistic. I love my city.

I managed to click my way from net life to real life in four easy steps. Friend of friends list-->band I know-->coworker. Frighteningly easy. Wonder if it's that easy for me to get found as well?
