"Cruddy Monday, la la, la, la-la. Cruddy Monday, Cruddy Monday, la la la!"
My tunelessness is apparent even on LJ. It was good to read friends' entries today noting that I am not the only one feeling yuck--I think it's something about February, and the start of the work week, got us down.
Went to the auto show yesterday. Zoom zoom zoom, as they say on the Mazda commercial. Didn't look at any Mazdas, but I did find a MINI and a Saab I wanted to take home. Craig fell in love with a Jaguar. (!! Who'da thunk?) I got interviewed on tape to get my reaction to the Land Rover's new Range Stormer, their screamin' orange concept vehicle set next to a faux waterfall. I clowned and soundbited (soundbit?) nicely on tape, then got all nervous and shy after I was already finished. Damn market survey people. Didn't even give me a keychain. I tried several times to convince them that in order to get my *best* reaction they should let me sit in the car. They declined. Then in retaliation I told them that their vehicle reminded me of a rhino. Which seemed complimentary at the time, and I built a good patter around it. Thinking further on the matter, I realize I'm not truly fond of rhinos.
The wedding is definitely scheduled for July 17. Wedding preparations, however, have been put on hold indefinitely, due to lack of enthusiasm from the planners. Maybe next week there will be news there.
