Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! After a big bout with another Killer Daycare Flu in Ohio, we made it to my family's turkey day event and Bonzo got himself all worn out meeting and greeting new family members. He really loves his grandmama's house, with its fancy high chair and big windows and blankets to wriggle on and trees! inside! and all the attention. His biggest event was rolling from his back to his tummy this evening. Go, Bonzo! He only did it the once, though--after all, he doesn't love being on his tummy all that much, why would he keep doing it? He looked very proud of himself. Then he thought he was too cool for sleep, though we finally convinced him. He snoozed through BSG Razor, so he's been down for three hours and counting, and hopefully I will get two hours of sleep before the next snack.
His hair is all golden and fuzzy this week, and his eyelashes have gotten very long. I think his eyes might stay blue-grey, though they've definitely changed color in the last three weeks. He's also starting to pull to sit, though he loves sit-ups about as much as I do.
Tomorrow we will start the trek home--poor little mouse, stuck in the car all that way. I wish we could stay another week. But between the fruitcake and the yummy derby pies and the card games and all the relatives, I think we've hit all the best parts of this visit.
