crowdsourcing my church obligations
Nov. 4th, 2007 09:11 pmOkay, I'm supposed to come up with a reading (somewhere between a paragraph and a page) for a small group meeting next weekend. The topic is "communication". We have lots of detailed communication-type instructions, but I'm looking for something succinct and inspirational on the power of listening or being heard. Off the top of your head, do any of you have ideas? Is there an old favorite book of quotes that you pull out for this type of event?
Douglet had his first fever tonight. I say "had," because we appear to have quickly broken it with some baby Tylenol. He woke up a couple hours after we dosed him ready to rock and roll. Perhaps we should not have made him feel better until morning? :) He is a little peaked, but he still giggles. I am so very glad he is okay.
