Sunday update, non-craft edition

Making: excuses as to why my papers won't be in on time this evening. Only another couple days of online "class", or until I get this dumb work finished.

Reading: Discovery article about cacti having tiny leaves. Fascinating! And Cactus Jungle has a blog; I'm thrilled.

Watching: the Little League World Series (Saudi Arabia vs. Curaco) while the Cubs are on a rain delay. It appears that this rain delay might last all week.

Listening: to many fans turned on in different corners of the house--a record of our attempts to put Bonzo to sleep. His guts must be bothering him, or something, as he is totally uninterested in sleeping. He is starting to seriously dislike the swaddle but won't go down for any length of time without one. I'd love to turn off all the racket but I'm worried that the cessation of noise will jolt him awake again.
