We are sneaking online from the hospital. I just wanted to let everyone know that Douglas Jacob was born on Sunday, June 10, about 1:33 in the afternoon. He weighed in at 7lb13oz, and was 20.5 in long. He is perfect, we are thrilled, and we are all three very tired.
We got to the hospital about 1 pm, maybe a little before. It was extremely exciting. (But isn't every birth?) All sorts of details came together so nicely. Since the birth, Douglas has been very good with us, though we are having a little trouble getting him to eat anything. He was also punctual, arriving one day before his due date. Because of these two facts, we are a little curious as to whether he is actually related to us, but Craig watched him come out (and boy, was he a trooper there) so he must be ours. :) I will share birth story when I get it written, and photos as soon as we get them uploaded!
