"It's so worth it."

This was what my teacher friend Anu said this afternoon when I told her the news and asked for words of wisdom. "All the lack of sleep--pre and post baby--all the fights with your husband, all the first few months, it's all so worth it." Gosh, that was good to hear.

What else? Scanner seems to be patched, so maybe pics tomorrow, if y'all are lucky. A note to my friends: the baby's sex is still kind of on a need-to-know basis, so please continue with your gender neutral pronouns until further notice. The kid prefers zie and zir. If you're not an LJ "friend" (and why not?) and you want to know, let me know and I'll email you. Unless we have a special arrangement that I will not disclose the kid's gender unless delivered a handwritten note in blue ink, that is.

The work week is sucky but is drawing to an end. The realtor hasn't called. I got to KIP, which was lovely, and makes me wonder why I don't update the knitting blog more often. (Such a convenient place to store information! Like a knitting notebook that never runs out of pages! Duh, you think I would be all over this!) Brain is still way haywire. Good night, all.
