My "comment on advertisements" note left on chevrolet.com:
"I was appalled by your commercial on Fox Tues evening which set "Our Country" behind images meant to be patriotic.
Disturbing images of wildfires, Hurricane Katrina, and reference to WTC attacks were included in your commercial. We lost our fellow Americans in these events, and it is extremely crass to use those images to profit in any way whatsoever. I am no longer considering purchase of a Chevy vehicle."
I was watching baseball last night and found this commercial, then got so outraged I had to go write an email. I know, I know, they won't listen. But it made me feel better. Maybe I was just already pissed off about the Yankees winning.
