all systems go

All hail the Advil and the coffee! I'm eating soft food and am good to go. Sadly, this means I have to do work today, and can't justify any more long rants on LJ.

A quickie rant before I go, however: someone stole the basil out of our back yard! The entire plant is gone, ripped out at the roots. It was about 2' tall and 1' wide, so it's too big for a squirrel or rabbit type critter to carry off. Who took our basil? And why? Answers to these questions, hopefully, next time I post.
