Elizabeth heads to volunteer location and kicks Zen ass to all the pissy protesters in the cold. Her calmness and sagacity are inspiring to all around her.
Redbird23 knits. She KNITS! We go to knitting store! And KIP! And it's fabulous! And I have a friend to knit with!
Another party tonight. Yes, we're rock stars.
We come home and I ask Craig to pull the phone book in off our doorstep. He says, "There's a phone book?" I ask him to look around until he identifies said phone book, at his feet, in caution-yellow plastic wrap that is clearly marked YELLOW PAGES and still beaded with moisture from snow shower two DAYS ago. He gives an "Oh!" of pleased recognition, snaps it up and bounces inside.
I have not picked it up in two days 'cause I'm a lazy bum. He has not picked it up, apparently, because he has not seen it as he has walked over it.

Okay, so maybe he's telling the truth about not noticing the dishes.
